Sampling systems for a modern process control

In modern plants, the sampling points of the process are centrally located at a particular point. This is called a sampling system.

The advantages of such a central positioning are, above all, a clear, at-a-glance arrangement and cost advantages in the cooling water supply, electrical supply, disposal of the sample water as well as a central interface to the process control system.

Sampling stations

The construction of a sampling system is carried out on sampling stations, which can be operated selectively either from one side or two sides. The sampling stations have a central cooling water supply and a comfortable drain pan. The power supply for all electrical devices and signal transfer to the process control system is realised through an electrical terminal box. When arranging the analysers, it can be selected between a measurement loop-related arrangement or a central arrangement next to the terminal box. Furthermore, if desired, a complete labelling of all components is also possible.

Analysis containers

The analysis containers are a special construction of sampling systems. They are prepared and ready for connection for operation under an open sky and contain a complete sampling system with cooling water supply, sample cooling, pressure reduction and all analysing devices. The containers are equipped with an air conditioning, designed to protect the measuring devices against climatic conditions on site. If desired, we also deliver analysis containers with an independent cooling system to facilitate a sample cooling without external water supply.
